Travis Caldwell is an American actor and model who is known for his portrayal as Charlie Monohan in The Gates.

Biography[]

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 16, 1989, Caldwell came to Los Angeles, California, to pursue an acting career. He has studied at The Michael Woolsen Studio and attended eight years of improv classes so he could perform for live audiences. He began his career appearing in an episode of Zoey 101 in 2006. That same year, he appeared in the short film Family Karma, which was followed by appearances in two short films: The Tap in 2008 and The Juggler in the following year. Caldwell also appeared as a guest star on TV series such as Women's Murder Club, CSI: Miami, Wizards of Waverly Place, The Lying Game, Miss Guided, Parenthood, and Without a Trace.

He recently worked on The Gates, in which he starred as series regular Charlie Monohan. Caldwell also filmed a few national commercials for companies Sports Authority, Thomas' Square Bagels, Blue-Cross Blue-Shield, and Bratz. In addition, he has done extended commercial print work with Mattel, Sprint, Proctor & Gamble, and Teen & Glamour Magazines. Caldwell has traveled twice to Hong Kong to fulfill modeling contracts for the agency.

In his personal life, he enjoys playing ice and street hockey. Caldwell is represented by Cindy Osbrink and Scott Wine of the Osbrink Agency and Ellen Meyer Management.

Caldwell portrayed psychopathic spree killer Benton Farland, who abducted his niece and nephew in the Season Ten episode "Amelia Porter".
