Trivia[]
- Though this was the fourth-produced episode of the season, it is being aired as the fifth.
- Brent and Sandy made another reappearance in this episode their first being in "Blood Relations". They are played by the same actors and their names are the same.
- The ghost featured in this story is clearly based on Slender Man, an internet meme which eventually became a viral internet horror story which led to fanart, cosplays and online fiction stories. The story eventually led to two twelve year old girls non-fatally stabbing a classmate nineteen times in a move to become proxies for Slender Man which was part of a plot in an online story. After similar minor incidents related to the story and moral panic from parents and other adults about more crimes possibly being committed as a result of being influenced by the story, the story's popularity started to decline before briefly becoming a topic of interest again in 2018 when a movie based on the character was released. The movie was panned by critics and the story's popularity declined again.
