Taylor Rene Black (nee Gildersleeve) is an American actress best known for her role as Sydney Harris in the hit dramatic soap opera series All My Children.
Biography[]
Black was born Taylor Rene Gildersleeve on September 13, 1991, in North Fork, New York. The names of Black's parents are not known, as is why she wanted to be an actress. What is known is that Black graduated from both Mattituck High School and Columbia University, the latter of which with an Honors degree in Film Studies. Black's first on-screen role is arguably her most well known role, when she was cast in 2005 as Sydney Harris, an assistant housekeeper and friend of Colby Chandler, for 38 episodes of the dramatic soap opera series All My Children. Black has also appeared in TV shows and movies such as Person of Interest, Dynasty, L.A.'s Finest, The Banker, A Rainy Day in New York, Midnight, Texas, Affluenza, Ascent to Hell, Sleeping with the Fishes, Unforgettable, Lucifer, One Life to Live, 30 Rock, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
