Pedophile?[]
Sixteen year-old wife (implicated as one of many), those mentioned statutory rape charges and Leo Kane's "those girls were way too young for a seventeen year-old to be messin' with" line. Plus, Rossi actually does refer to him as a child molester at one point. -- Lord Crayak 00:42, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Statutory rape and child molestation are two different things. Statutory rape is defined differently in every country and every state in the U.S. In many southern states, and in Northern European countries, 13-14 is the age of consent. Cyrus may well have fallen within this definition, as 16 is definitely the age of consent in most U.S. states (non-commonwealth states). However, the ages of the earlier girls was never really hit upon in Leo Kane's dialog. (by the way, Leo should have an article). I would put pedophile as one who has sexual contact with someone under age 10, for example, and a statutory rapist as someone who does the same with 12 and above. I don't know. Let's get everyone's opinion. I will remain neutral. -HI
- If Cyrus had a thing for girls in their early teens, "hebephilia", a term also applied to George Foyet in Omnivore, might be a bit more appropiate than pedophilia. It refers to sexual attraction to pubescent individuals.--Jpx400 11:58, January 4, 2010 (UTC)
