Criminal Minds Wiki

Suzanne Sena (born Suzanne Woronchak), is an American actress, television host, and former news anchor best known for her role as Brooke Alvarez in the television journalism satire series The Onion News Network.

Biography[]

Sena was born on April 2, 1963, at Dearborn, Michigan. Growing up, Sena loved performing for other people, being able to land lead roles while she was enrolled at the Edsel Ford High School and also placing in multiple interpretive reading contests. When she graduated from the Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, Sena decided to move to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to start a career in public relations and marketing, setting up large scale events and producing radio commercials at the event-marketing firm she started and ran. However, Sena was still in love with acting and took part in multiple plays during her time in Albuquerque. This eventually got her noticed by an agent, and her career took off, receiving work in voice-overs and as an on-camera spokesperson. Her on-camera skills, as well as her business experience, were especially instrumental in helping her land a job as a reporter for the popular entertainment news network, E!. Apart from her work as a reporter, she has also been able to land multiple on-screen jobs, appearing in TV shows such as The Onion News Network, Castle, Zoey 101, Lincoln Heights, Sullivan & Son, The Drew Carey Show, and Criminal Minds.
