The Smith & Wesson Model 27 is a revolver made by Smith & Wesson.
History[]
The Model 27 was first produced in 1935 as the Registered Magnum. This was during the time of the Great Depression and orders for the Magnum were high despite its high price. It was later adopted by various police forces and renamed the .357 Magnum.
The Model 28 was later produced as basically a downgraded Model 27.
