Shane Coffey is an American actor best known for his role as Holden Strauss in the mystery thriller series Pretty Little Liars.

Biography[]

Coffey was born on April 7, 1987, in Houston, Texas. Little is known about his past, including the names of his parents and why he wanted to be an actor. What is known is that Coffey graduated from the Klein Collins High School and studied theater in the University of Southern California. Coffey got his first on-screen role in 2004, when he was cast as Patrick for an episode of the dramatic teen series Summerland. Coffey got his first major recurring role in 2012, when he was cast as Holden Strauss, a close friend of protagonist Aria Montgomery, for 9 episodes of the mystery thriller series Pretty Little Liars. Since then, Coffey has appeared in TV shows and movies such as S.W.A.T., NCIS: Los Angeles, Grimm, Major Crimes, Starry Eyes, Aquarians, Hover, The Whole Truth, Perception, Castle, and Criminal Minds.
