Season Two is the second season of Criminal Minds. It ran originally from September 20, 2006 through May 16, 2007. In the United Kingdom, the season premiered on Channel 4 in 2009 and airing new episodes, this time, following Season 1.
The DVD was released on October 2, 2007. The DVD features 23 episodes on 6 discs with Special Features.

Season Two received 14.050 million viewers and a 5.0 score in the A18-49 demo on CBS. The first episode received 15.65 million U.S. views while the season finale had 13.21 million U.S. views.

Highlights[]
Season Two of Criminal Minds begins where Season One leaves off with the conclusion of "The Fisher King, Part 1". A prolific serial killer matches wits with Gideon. Elle Greenaway shoots a serial rapist and eventually resigns from the BAU as a result. Reid relives his painful childhood after a religious serial killer, who has three personalities, abducts, tortures, and drugs him for the course of two days. Secrets about Morgan are revealed after he is arrested during a visit home on suspicion of being a serial killer. New to the team this season is Emily Prentiss, an ambassador's daughter.
