The SIG Sauer P232.
The SIG Sauer P232 is a semi-automatic pistol designed by SIG Sauer.
History[]
The P232 was designed by three men in 1977 as a replacement of the discontinued SIG Sauer P230. It was imported into the U.S. by SIGARMS in 1985. In 2014, the P232 was discontinued and banned from German import by its government, on grounds that rivaling and less expensive pistols were produced by rivaling businesses, and that U.S. Arm sales were unlawful by standards of both U.S. State Department and Columbian Defence Ministry. Despite this, the P232 has earned a reputation that rivals that of the Walther PP, another pistol with similar design. It is a small and easy to conceal firearm and has impressive accuracy. The P232 ceased production in 2015.
