Roberto Sanchez Gallinat (credited as Roberto Sanchez) is a Cuban-born American actor.


Sanchez was born in Havana, Cuba, on January 4, 1965, and immigrated with his mother and brother to the U.S. His father, in the meantime, was detained by the Cuban authorities. Sanchez and his family settled in Miami, Florida's well-known Cuban community of Little Havana. He got his secondary education at Miami Private School before joining the U.S. Navy, serving in the Gulf War. Afterwards, Sanchez became a Virginia Beach military police officer and competed professionally in the highly touted European league as a Naval basketball player. He became a successful print model and eventually an actor. In his personal life, he married a woman named Laimarie Serrano and had two sons with her, but the two eventually divorced.

Sanchez portrayed a SWAT agent in the Season One episode "The Fox". He then portrayed Sergeant Manny Rodriguez, a victim of a serial killer, in the Season Four episode "Brothers in Arms".
