Summary

Caught in an impossible situation, Reid must face an old nemesis. Meanwhile, Derek Morgan comes to the BAU with a lead that might help them find Mr. Scratch.

• The term "red light" is used both as a noun (a red traffic light instructing vehicles to stop moving) and as a verb (to refuse an action).
• A scene from the Season Eight finale episode "The Replicator" is reused. In it, two helicopters used by the BAU are flying overhead the rooftops.
• When the BAU is ambushed at the end of the episode, two newer model Chevy SUVs are shown, but when they get hit by a semi they are shown to be older models.
