Rebecca Field is an American actress best known for her portrayal of Lacey Jean-Locklin in The Client List.


Field was born in Lenox Dale, Massachusetts, to Dennis Field and Ellen Mendel. In her childhood, she was encouraged to pursue an acting career by her second-grade guidance counselor as means of channeling her energy; she studied acting at the Berkshire Public Theatre. In high school, Field played soccer and basketball and also ran track. Later, Field enrolled in Bridgewater State University, and after graduating, she trained at New York's Circle in the Square Theatre. She launched her acting career in R. Kelly's hip-hopera Trapped in the Closet, in which she plays the role of Bridget. In her early years, Field played minor roles in various TV shows and movies, including Monk.

Finally, Field was cast in her first series regular role of Janet in the short-lived ABC TV series October Road from 2007 to 2008, in which she starred alongside Bryan Greenberg and Laura Prepon. In 2009, she portrayed a recurring role as social worker Susan Winters, starring alongside Jada Pinkett Smith in the TNT show Hawthorne. Field also made guest appearances on shows such as Dollhouse, Drop Dead Diva, The Mentalist, Mike & Molly, Criminal Minds, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Castle, and Body of Proof. As of 2013, Field portrays her most well-known role, the character of Lacey Jean-Locklin on the Lifetime show The Client List.
