Philip Abraham is a American television director best known for his work on the TV series' Daredevil, Orange is the New Black, and Mad Men. Abraham worked as a director for one episode of the police procedural series Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.


Abraham was born to one Roy E. Abraham and his wife Rita (née Kallus). He graduated from Wesleyan University in 1982 with a Bachelor's degree. His directing career began in 2007, when he first directed an episode of the hit mobster crime-drama series The Sopranos. He then began directing episodes for multiple different television shows like Breaking Bad, The Good Wife, and Sons of Anarchy, before eventually getting hired to direct an episode for Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. After the show's cancellation, Abraham has continued working as a director, having directed multiple episodes for shows like Elementary, The Killing, Mad Men, The Defenders, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and Orange is the New Black.

Abraham directed the Season One episode "Smother", his only work on the franchise to-date.
