Najarra Townsend is an American actress, singer, and producer, best known for playing Tru in the indie film Tru Loved.
Biography[]
Townsend was born on December 5, 1989, in Santa Barbara, California. Not much is known about her family. What is known is that she was a child model as a toddler, participated in several local theater productions, and studied at the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles, California. After a few small roles, at the age of 10, she landed her first big role in the horror shocker film Menace. She has then had roles in many TV series and movies, such as Me and You and Everyone You Know, Tru Loved, Marin Blue, Strange Angel, CSI: NY, 90210, Big Time Rush, and Criminal Minds.

Townsend portrayed Regina Franklin, a prostitute and meth addict who was the final victim of escaped serial killer Thomas Yates, in the Season Twelve episode "Profiling 202".
