Michael David Spound is an American actor and writer best known for his roles on Hotel, The Ring, and Must Love Dogs.

Biography[]

Spound was born on April 8, 1957, in Los Angeles, California. He portrayed Dave Kendall in the drama series Hotel, costarring with Heidi Bohay, who would later become his wife in 1988. He guest-starred on a variety of TV shows. The two had three sons together, named Zachary, Gabe, and Jonah.

Spound portrayed Sam DeLilly, the father of a murder victim, in the Season Six episode "Remembrance of Things Past".
