Little is known about Michael, other than he had a lengthy sheet of charges related to children, which involved child abuse, neglect, and molestation, although none of them were pursued due to the victims being too young. He later became the partner-in-crime of Michelle Fader in the "disrupted adoption" system.
In the episode, they take a girl named Gabby Hoffer from the care of Nicole Jones when she begins to panic as a result of investigators searching for Gabby. After Nicole is arrested by the BAU, the team then deduces that Michael has Gabby and storm into a home they are frequenting, arresting him and Michelle while Gabby and the other children under his care are rescued.
