Mark David Hapka is an American actor best known for his roles on Ghost Whisperer and its spin-off Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side, along with Days of Our Lives.
Biography[]
Hapka was born in Buffalo, New York, on May 29, 1982. His parents were Robert and Debbie Hapka, who have since divorced and both remarried. When Hapka was about eleven years old, his family moved to Rome, where he attended Rome Free Academy. He graduated in 2000 and went on to study music education and voice at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse. About five years later, Hapka left Syracuse and moved to Los Angeles, California. There, he enrolled in acting classes at Playhouse West and began working in student films. Finally, he appeared in a 2006 showcase that won him representation.
Hapka later started a proper acting career afterwards. He had his first credited role in the feature film Good Time Max, then had a starring role as the spirit Zach in the TV shows Ghost Whisperer: The Other Side and its parent show Ghost Whisperer. He got the role when the producers chose him for his "fresh face". Following this, Hapka appeared in the TV series Greek and also landed a minor role on Days of Our Lives. In 2009, he appeared in the films Second Sight and Midgets Vs. Mascots. That same year, he appeared in the TV series Hannah Montana and Cold Case, and returned to Days of Our Lives to portray a different role.

Hapka portrayed Terry Pyke, an abusive ex-husband who was killed by vigilante Clifford Walsh in the Season Nine episode "The Road Home".
