Marc Singer is a Canadian-born-American actor best known for his role as Mike Donovan in the science fiction franchise V.

Biography[]

Singer was born on January 29, 1948, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Jacques and Leslie Singer. Where Singer went to school is not known. What is known is that Singer grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, and first got into acting by getting recruited by a teacher to fill a vacant slot in a play. Singer got his first on-screen role in 1973, when he received an uncredited appearance as a young Doctor on television in one episode of the hit detective fiction crime drama series Columbo. Singer got his first major role in 1979, when he was cast as Andy Warner for 4 episodes of the acclaimed miniseries Roots: The Next Generations. Singer has also appeared in TV shows and movies such as Batman: The Animated Series, Great Performances, V, V: The Final Battle, Dallas, Born to Race, Murder, She Wrote, Watchers II, Dead Space, In the Cold of the Night, The Berlin Conspiracy, The Ray Bradbury Theatre, Highlander, Lancelot: Guardian of Time, Duck Dodgers, The Palmer Supremacy, The Twilight Zone, Arrow, and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.
