Maiara Walsh is an Brazilian-American actress best known for her role as Meena Paroom in the teen sitcom series Cory in the House.
Biography[]
Walsh was born on February 18, 1988, in Seattle, Washington. The names of her parents, where she went to school, and why she wanted to be an actress are not known. What is known is that Walsh got her first on-screen role in 2005, when she was cast as a female cousin in an episode of the comedy-drama teen sitcom Unfabulous. Walsh got her first major role in 2007, when she was cast as Meena Paroom, the daughter of the Bahavian ambassador and best friend to series protagonist Cory Baxter, for all 34 episodes of the teen sitcom series Cory in the House. Since then, Walsh has appeared in TV shows and movies such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Notorious, Zombieland, Summer Camp, Glitch, VANish, The Jazz Funeral, Desperate Housewives, The Starving Games, The Last Ship, and Criminal Minds.
