Käthe Elizabeth Mazur is an American actress best known for his role as Deputy District Attorney Andrea Hobbs in the police procedural series The Closer and Major Crimes.
Biography[]
Mazur was born on August 24, 1961, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Michael Burton Mazur and Gail Beckwith Mazur. Where Mazur went to school is not known, as is why she wanted to become an actress. What is known is that Mazur got her first on-screen role in 1988, when she was cast as an attendee at a seminar hosted by Doctor Siegel in the dramatic movie Leap of Faith. Mazur got her first major role in 1995, when she was first cast as Nicky St. Hubbin for all 8 episodes of the sitcom series Misery Loves Company. Mazur has also appeared in TV shows and movies such as Major Crimes, The Closer, Judging Amy, Frasier, Grey's Anatomy, Paparazzi, The Gymnast, A Marine Story, The Mentalist, American Sniper, NCIS, For The People, and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.

Mazur portrayed Evelyn Lawford, a woman whose husband was unintentionally murdered by serial killer Margaret McKenna, in the episode "See No Evil".
