Criminal Minds Wiki

Juliette Weaver is an abductor and criminal accomplice of Cat Adams who appeared in the Season Fifteen episode "Date Night".

Background[]

Like Cat Adams, Weaver's father killed her mother, fled the country and was never found. At some point during her lifetime, she wound up taking the fall for a crime committed by her ex-boyfriend and was incarcerated in the same prison where Cat was. While there, Cat groomed Weaver with her philosophies about how all men were always the same. When she was released, Weaver was given instructions by Cat to abduct Don and Eloise Brenner, the father and younger sister of Reid's current date, in order to get close to him. In return, she would get revenge on her ex-boyfriend.

Date Night[]

As Don and Eloise leave a movie theater, Juliette walks up to the former and asks if he has seen 'Susan' (Cat Adams' mother). Kindly declining, they continue walking to their car, where Don finds a wanted poster of himself depicted as the suspect in Susan's murder. Looking up, he finds that the cars and lampposts in front of him have been plastered in wanted posters. While he is distracted, Juliette sneaks up behind them and takes Eloise hostage with her gun, ordering Don to get in the car.

The posters as well as numerous phone calls of witnesses accusing Don of murdering ‘Susan’ and a live video of him and Eloise begging for help being recorded by Juliette resulted in the BAU believing that this abduction was planned out by Cat Adams in order to get back at Reid for outsmarting her last time.

While Reid goes out on a "date" with Cat, Juliette leaves Don behind and forces Eloise to drive her to her ex-boyfriend's residence while going on a tangent about her time in prison with Cat and learning from Cat's philosophies about how all men were the same in their actions despite Eloise's protests that they're not.

After the conclusion of Cat's date with Reid, she lets Eloise go and exits the car and starts toward her ex- boyfriend's house, only to be caught by the BAU and placed under arrest. It is safe to assume that Juliette is incarcerated afterwards.

Modus Operandi[]

Because Juliette never killed anyone, the term M.O. might be misused. When she abducted Don and Eloise Brenner, she placed wanted posters all over the street by the theater where both of her victims were. The posters in question were designed to make it look like Don was the murderer of Cat's mother in a bid to confuse him and give her enough time to get Eloise in her grasp. Once she held Eloise hostage and Don had no other choices, she coerced him into her (or her victims') car and drive them to a secluded location where she would torture them with a fire arm with blanks. After the scare and during Cat's time with Reid, she forced Eloise into the car and told her to drive to her ex-boyfriend's house in a bid to get revenge on him for taking the fall for a crime that he committed.

Profile[]

Because the BAU were trying to figure out how to beat Cat Adams at her own game, it's unclear whether or not an official profile had been established for Juliette. What is known is that she has a few similarities to Cat, namely that both had mothers that were killed by their fathers, both were incarcerated in the same prison, and both had philosophies that all men acted the same way in their actions (such as lying or abuse); though Weaver only developed these beliefs when she crossed paths with Adams.

Real-Life Comparison[]

Juliette is inspired by Veronica Compton - Both are attempted murderers who were accomplices of an incarcerated serial killer, were seduced into a relationship with the killer, were manipulated to carry out a violent crime on the killer's orders, and were caught by police after an attempt on a female victim.

Known Victims[]

  • Don Brenner (abducted)
