Jessica Ruth Lundy is an American actress best known for her role as Amanda Wainwright in the crime drama series The Inspectors.

Biography[]

Lundy was born on March 20, 1966, in San Diego, California, to Jean McDonald and Joel Lundy. Lundy grew up in Avon, Connecticut, and graduated from both the Circle in the Square Theatre School and the Tisch School of the Arts. Lundy got her first on-screen role in 1988, when she was cast as Theresa in the dramatic film Bright Lights, Big City. Lundy got her first major recurring role in 1990, when she was first cast as Nikki Page, a struggling reporter who comes to novelist Maxwell Beckett for help regarding a murder, for all 11 episodes of the police procedural crime drama series Over My Dead Body. Lundy has also appeared in TV shows and movies such as The Inspectors, Major Crimes, Men of a Certain Age, The Game, Medium, A Merry Little Christmas, Century City, October 22, Boomtown, Without a Trace, Monk, Caddyshack 2, Fudgy Wudgy Fudge Face, Castle, Numb3rs, and Criminal Minds.

Lundy portrayed Alison Sparks, the mother of Sammy Sparks and abduction victim of Bill Thomas, in the Season Six episode "Coda".
