John Joseph "Jay" Acovone is an American actor.
Biography[]
Acovone was born on August 20, 1955, in Mahopac, New York. His parents owned a dry-cleaning business, and he is the youngest of three children. He graduated from Mahopac High School in 1973, and decided to become an actor when he was nineteen years old. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1977, and also studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute for eight months. After graduation, Acovone started an acting career and has appeared in multiple feature films and TV shows. He married Fonda St. Paul in 1981 and they divorced in 2000.
