James Otis was an American actor.

Biography[]

Little is known about Otis' early background, including why he chose to become an actor in the first place. He began his film career in the 1970s, when he first appeared in the film Dragonfly in 1976. He made his first appearance in TV with a guest-star role on Missing Persons in 1993. In 1999, Otis appeared in three episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In 2006, he appeared in the biographical crime film The Black Dahlia. Aside from acting, Otis has performed in numerous audio plays for Peabody Award-winning radio writer and producer Yuri Rasovsky.

On March 3, 2020, at 71 years of age, Otis passed away from complications following an illness.
