James Richard Black is an American actor best known for his role as Cleo in the comedic sitcom series Anger Management.
Biography[]
Black was born on April 3, 1962, in Lima, Ohio. The names of his parents are, as is why he wanted to become an actor. What is known is that Flanders graduated from both Dover High School and the University of Akron, and played football for both the Akron Zips and the Cleveland Browns prior to becoming an actor. Black got his first on-screen role in 1987, when he was cast as a suspect for one episode of the action crime series Houston Knights. Black got his first major role in 1996, when he was first cast as Michael Hailey, an Agent responsible for the security of the task force where he is assigned, for all 19 episodes of the fantasy science-fiction series The Burning Zone. Flanders so appeared in TV shows and movies such as NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, JAG, The Family Business, After We Leave, My Brothers' Crossing, Crossroads, Anger Management, The PJs, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, and Criminal Minds.
