Jake Choi is an American actor best known for his role as Miggy Park in the comedic sitcom series Single Parents.

Biography[]

Little is known about Choi's past, including his birthday, the names of his parents, and why he wanted to become an actor. What is known is that Choi was born and raised in Elmhurst, Queens, New York, graduated from both Newtown High School and Yonsei University, and briefly attended the Lee Strasburg Institute. Choi got his first on-screen role in 2010, when he was cast as a takeout man in the short crime film Closed. Choi got his first major recurring role in 2018, when he was first cast as Miggy Park for all 45 episodes of the comedic sitcom series Single Parents. Choi has also appeared in TV shows and movies such as The Magicians, Eastsiders, Succession, The Mysteries of Laura, Ms. Purple, Keep Hope Alive, Mysteries at the Museum, CollegeHumor Originals, Difficult People, A Bear Lands on Earth, Money Monster, Wolves, Gotham, ABC Discovers: Los Angeles Talent Showcase, Lethal Weapon, Hawaii Five-0, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
