Eric Frentzel is an American actor and producer.


Frentzel was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on February 4, 1974. He graduated from St. Louis University, located in his hometown, with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He started an acting career in 2009 with a role in the short film Open Ends. Frentzel has since landed a few minor roles on short films and made-for-TV movies. However, he started having more major roles in feature films such as J. Edgar and TV shows such as Criminal Minds. In 2011, he shot, edited, and directed his first short film The Constituents.

Frentzel portrayed Steven Parkett, a.k.a. "The Mad Butcher of Bakersfield", a serial killer who appeared in the Season Ten premiere episode "X".
