"Epilogue" is the sixth episode of Season Seven and the 144th overall of Criminal Minds.

Summary

The BAU searches California's Angeles National Forest after a number of bodies mysteriously turn up in the mountain lakes there. Also, Rossi struggles with an agonizing decision regarding his ex-wife.

• The uncredited David St. Pierre did stunt work for this episode, as well as the Season Four episode "Brothers in Arms" (and also played that episode's unsub), Season Seven episode "Heathridge Manor", and the Season Nine episodes "In The Blood" and "Blood Relations".

Notes

• Towards the end, when the unsub has Evan as a hostage, the knife he wields is obviously made of rubber. This is best seen as soon as he brings his hand out of the water with it, as the movement bends the knife in ways a metal knife would not bend.
