David Bowe is an American actor best known for his role as Bob Steckler in the comedic film UHF.

Biography[]

Bowe was born on January 4, 1964, in Los Angeles, California. Little else is known about Bowe's past, including the names of his parents, where Bowe went to school, and why he wanted to become an actor. What is known is that Bowe got his first on-screen role in 1982, when he was cast as a customer for one episode of the comedic sitcom series Alice. Bowe got his first major role in 1989, when he was cast as Bob Steckler, the best friend of George Newman, in the comedic film UHF. Bowe has also appeared in TV shows and movies such as 9-1-1, Castle, Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Panic, Cold Case, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Checking Out, Drillbit Taylor, Kicking & Screaming, American Horror Story, Black-ish, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds.

Bowe portrayed Kruger Spence, a CIA Agent suspected of being a mole, in the Season One episode "Secrets and Lies".
