Christopher Chen is an American actor.

Biography[]

Chen was born on July 26, 1966, in DeKalb, Illinois. Little is known about Chen's past, including the names of his family members and why he wanted to be an actor. What is known is that he graduated from the Northwestern University as a Theater Major. Chen got his first acting role in 1994, when he had an uncredited role as Cinema Usher #2 in the comedic family film It Runs in the Family. Chen got his first major role in 2000, when he was cast as Tad Takashi in the dramatic short film The Shangri-la Café. Since then, he's appeared in TV shows such as Adam Ruins Everything, Scream Queens, Modern Family, Pure Genius, Castle, Chuck, All About Manos, New Girl, and Criminal Minds.

Chen first portrayed Dan Chen, one of the victims of delusional serial-turned-spree killer, stalker, and abductor Justin Leu, in the Season Ten episode "Burn". He then portrayed Doctor Warren Spitz in the Season Thirteen episode "Lucky Strikes".
