Cas Anvar is a Canadian actor and voice actor best known for his role as Alex Kamal in the science fiction drama series The Expanse.
Biography[]
Little is known about Anvar's past, including his birthday, the names of his parents, and why he wanted to be an actor. What is known is that Anvar was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and attended the Beaconsfield High School, McGill University, and the National Theatre School of Canada. Anvar got his first on-screen role in 1992, when he was cast as the owner of an arcade for 2 episodes of the dramatic crime series Urban Angel. Anvar got his first major role in 2003, when he was cast as Kambiz Foroohar, a journalist and colleague of Stephen Glass, in the historic drama film Newhart. Anvar has also appeared in TV shows and movies such as The Expanse, Perception, Intelligence, Fall, The Vatican Tapes, Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek Continues, The Lie, The Operative, Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Argo, Halo 4, How to Get Away with Murder, Last Resort, The Strain, NCIS: Los Angeles, Castle, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
