Blake C. Shields (born Blake Shields Abramovitz) is an American actor best known for his role as Flint Gordon in the Heroes series.
Biography[]
Shields was born on May 31, 1978, in Ithaca, New York. He, along with his older brother and two younger sisters, spent most of his childhood frequently traveling around the world, until the family eventually settled down in Israel. Once he returned to the U.S., he decided to dedicate a large fraction of his time to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and the Washington Street Players, a theater group. He eventually went on to star in several theater productions, such as Hamlet and A Midsummer Night's Dream. He later appeared in his first feature film, which was the 2000 romantic comedy Boys and Girls, in which he played the Homecoming Knight. He later appeared in the 2001 drama New Port South, in which he played Will Maddox. He has also landed several recurring roles in several TV shows, including the HBO series Carnivàle as Osgood, the Showtime series Sleeper Cell as Thomas "Tommy" Allen Emerson, and the NBC series Heroes as Flint Gordon.

Shields portrayed J.R. Baker, a mason and a member of a pack of thrill killers who appeared in the Season Five episode "Hopeless".
