Benjamin Byron "Big Ben" Davis is an American actor and voice actor best known for his role as Dutch van der Linde in the western third-person-shooter video game franchise Red Dead Redemption.
Biography[]
Davis was born on June 21, 1972, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Jessica and William Davis. Davis graduated from Noble and Greenough School, the University of Chicago, and the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Davis got his first on-screen role in 1997, when he was cast as a drag queen named Zeius in the comedic film Flushed. Davis got his first major role in 2010, when he provided the voice Dutch van der Linde, a notorious cowboy and leader of a gang of outlaws called The Van der Linde Gang, in the western third-person-shooter video game Red Dead Redemption, as well as the game's sequel Red Dead Redemption 2. Davis has also appeared in TV shows, movies, and video games such as L.A. Noire, Medium, Bones, Without a Trace, Standoff, NCIS: Los Angeles, Somewhere Slow, Lies and Alibis, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Parks and Recreation, The Belko Experiment, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Criminal Minds.
