Benjamin "Ben" Maccabee is an Israeli-born-American actor best known for his role as Hector in the soap opera series Days of Our Lives.
Biography[]
Maccabee was born on Novermber 13, 1966, in Haifa, Israel, to Judah Maccabee Kobby and Sima Cohen Kobby. Where Maccabee went to school is not known. What is known is that Maccabee first wanted to become an actor watching movies as a child, and served 4 years on the Israeli Defense Force prior to becoming an actor. Allen got his first on-screen role in 1992, when he was cast as a knight for at least one episode of the medieval-themed game show Knights and Warriors. Maccabee got his first major recurring role in 2015, when he was first cast as Hector, a thug working for Victor Kiriakis, for 6 episode of the soap opera series Days of Our Lives. Maccabee has also appeared in TV shows and movies like The Blacklist: Redemption, Honey Boy, The Matadors, Snowfall, Boston Legal, All Is Foreseen, The Leftovers, Being American, The Book of Daniel, Beyond the Trophy, David & Fatima, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
