Annie Funke is an American actress best known for her theater work on and off Broadway.

Biography[]

Funke is an alum of the School at Steppenwolf in Chicago, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from University of Oklahoma.

Funke passion is theater, and she has worked around the country at Casa Mañana, STAGES St. Louis, Riverside Theatre, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma and Music Theatre of Wichita, and of course in productions in Broadway and off-Broadway. In 2013 she won the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Featured Actress for her role of Anna in If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet.

In 2015 she was cast as Medical Examiner Mae Jarvis in the new CBS series Beyond Borders, the second spin-off of Criminal Minds.

Funke portrayed Mae Jarvis, a medical examiner of the FBI, working directly with the International Response Team.
