Annabeth Gish (born Anne Elizabeth Gish) is an American actress best known for her role as Special Agent Monica Reyes in the hit dramatic science fiction series The X-Files.
Biography[]
Gish was born Anne Elizabeth Gish on March 13, 1971, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Judy and Robert Gish. Gish graduated from both the North University High School and Duke University. Gish's first on-screen role in 1986 was also her first lead-role, when she was cast as Rose Chismore, the daughter of Lily Chismore and step-daughter of World War II veteran Jack Chismore, in the dramatic family film Gravitation. Gish's next major role came in 2006, when she was cast as Urilla Sutherland, the childhood sweetheart and eventual wife of the titular protagonist, in the biographical western film Wyatt Earp. Gish has also appeared in TV shows and films like The X-Files, Lie to Me, Parks and Recreation, The Chaperone, Once Upon a Time, The Bridge, Sons of Anarchy, Home Run Showdown, Before I Wake, #Freerayshawn, Halt and Catch Fire, The Warrant, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Code Black, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The West Wing, and Criminal Minds.
