Amy Madigan is an American actress best known for her portrayals in Lifetime films.
Background[]
Madigan was born in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Dolores, a union worker, and John Madigan, a Chicago-area political analyst, newspaper journalist, broadcast and media personality and lawyer. Madigan studied philosophy at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, piano at the The Music Conservatory of Chicago College of Performing Arts, and also attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. She moved to Los Angeles in 1970.
Criminal Minds[]
Madigan portrayed Jane Hanratty, a mentally ill woman who was the object of obsession (and ultimately the final victim) of serial killer Frank Breitkopf, in the Season Two episodes "No Way Out" and "No Way Out II: The Evilution of Frank".
