Alan David Heitz is an American actor.


Heitz was born in Buffalo, New York, on December 6, 1969, and was named after the French-Swiss actor and businessman Alain Delon. He was raised in the Washington, D.C./Baltimore metropolitan area. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in Journalism, he worked at a PBS station. Heitz studied acting at The Groundlings and ACME Theatre in Los Angeles, California, and also at the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory in Washington, D.C. He started acting with three different roles in three episodes of the TV series documentary America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back, from 1995 to 1997. In his personal life, Heitz has been married to Leah Verill ever since July 21, 2012.
