The AKS-74U is a carbine designed by The Kalashnikov Concern.
History[]
The AKS-74U is one of many variants of the original AK-74 rifle designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is essentially a more compact version of the AK-74 built for use by special forces, airborne infantry, rear-echelon support units, helicopter and armored vehicle crews. This model was produced from 1979-1993.
